Web Design Process

1 - Agreement and Project Brief

Everything starts with the initial project brief. We will discuss in depth your project and your expectations. We will suggest ideas that will help meet your objectives, and talk you through any special requirements. You'll be advised on costs and given a several pricing options. Following this, you will be presented with a detailed agreement outlining all the deliverables, and a timeline for completion of the project.

2 - Design, Look & Feel

Depending on the initial agreement, a number of designs will be provided for you to choose from. The design comps will be previewed in the browser window and will have the exact pixel dimensions of the final site. Together we will work to finalize the right look and feel for your site.

3 - Web Site Build

You will be asked to provide all the content for the web site; all text and images must be in electronic form. Once the site is programmed, it will be put on a staging server, where you will be able to preview it and suggest any modifications to functionality.

4 - Testing and Q&A

Once the web site is completed, it will be tested on various platforms and browsers to make sure the web site functions and looks the way it was designed to the majority of users. The web site will then be put live.

5 - Maintenance

Most websites will need some kind of maintenance, and an agreement can be drawn up for future additions and updates.
